VGP Park Bratislava welcomes new tenants: Coca-Cola and Hossa Family lease a total of 16,419 m2

16 May, Bratislava: VGP, the owner, manager, and developer of semi-industrial and logistics real estate has prepared space for two new tenants in its VGP Park Bratislava in the municipality of Bernolákovo just several minutes’ drive from the capital city. Coca-Cola HBC Czech Republic and Slovakia and Hossa Family have become a part of the park’s first phase. Coca-Cola, the world-renowned producer and distributer of non-alcoholic beverages, has leased a total of 8,800 m2. Coca-Cola has already started full operations of non-alcoholic beverages storage and distribution. In summer, Hossa Family will start to use space totalling over 7,600 m2 to store and distribute refrigerated and frozen food products. The new warehouse was built to the green certification level BREEAM Excellent.

We are convinced that both Coca-Cola and Hossa Family will appreciate not only the strategic location of our park, with its direct access to the D1 motorway, but also the high quality of the interior spaces. We have tailored these to their wishes and specific requirements,” comments Naďa Kováčiková, VGP’s Sales Director for Slovakia, adding: “Our company is committed to sustainability and the environmental aspects of new buildings, so we strive to minimise the long-term environmental impact of our projects. To this end, among other aspects, we use renewable energy sources, recycle rainwater, and minimize waste. Specifically in the Bratislava park, tenants can choose whether they want to use a setup that is already completed for photovoltaics or charging stations for electric vehicles.”

The site presently comprises four fully completed and fully occupied warehouses. In the long term, however, it will include another 270,000 m2 of lettable area. VGP Park Bratislava I will offer a total of six warehouses and VGP Park Bratislava II another five warehouses. In total, that will be more than 400,000 m2 of warehouse and logistics space for lease. When fully completed, the site will become one of the largest parks in VGP’s European portfolio.
