- Transaher, which already had a facility in Barcelona, expands its activity in one of the most industrialized and strategic logistics areas
- Like all VGP logistics and industrial projects, VGP Park Granollers is based on the construction and leasing of sustainable and energy-efficient business parks
Barcelona, September 28, 2022. - The pan-European company VGP, owner and manager of high-quality logistics and industrial properties, has leased its VGP Park Granollers to the logistics and transport company Transaher. The total leased area amounts to 8,919 square meters, on a plot of 14,385 square meters, and the construction time for the park has been 10 months.
Located in the strategic town of Granollers, in the industrial area of Coll de Manya, 23 km from the city of Barcelona, the industrial and logistics VGP Park Granollers, a single-tenant type, is located in a privileged location due to its excellent connections, with direct access to the C-17 (Barcelona-Vic-Puigcerdà), and very close to the AP-7 Mediterranean motorway and VGP Park Lliçà d’Amunt. Its building –which is being energy certified– aspires to the BREEAM Very Good standard.
Among other measures, the building has photovoltaic panels and cutting-edge energy technologies, such as the generation of hot water in offices through energy reuse systems, LED technology lighting, air conditioning using highly efficient equipment and thermal modeling of the building. In addition, the building has been built using sustainable construction practices.
Transaher expands its activity
Transaher already had a facility in Barcelona, in Montonrès del Vallès, which it maintains, but the growing demand for its logistics services by its clients and customers have pushed the company to expand its activity in one of the most industrialized areas and with more movement and international connections thanks to its proximity to the border with France. Among other solutions, Transaher offers storage, picking & packing and handling services, to provide a comprehensive response to all customers, with excellent service and full traceability.
