We are seeking for a colleague for the position of a Sustainability Consultant to join our team and help us to achieve our sustainability goals.

 

Position Overview:

As a Sustainability Consultant, you will help us with the company’s sustainability strategy and initiatives within our VGP parks. You will be part of an international team and work with various departments to identify opportunities for the sustainability certifications, for example regarding the topics materials, waste etc.  


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sustainability Reporting: Collect, analyse, and report on sustainability data, including waste management, carbon footprint, materials, and ensure compliance with sustainability reporting frameworks.
  • Collaboration & Education: Work with internal teams to promote sustainability´s best practices, and to foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
  • Supplier & Partner Engagement: Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to promote sustainable sourcing and responsible supply chain management.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure the company adheres to local, national, and international environmental regulations and standards.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about sustainability trends, technologies, and practices, and apply them to improve operations.

What do we require:

  • Secondary or University education – specific experience in sustainability specialisation not necessary
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across various teams
  • High interest in the topic of sustainability
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • Communicative English – level B
