VGP Romania leases 8,500 m2 of logistics space to DB Schenker at VGP Park Brasov

Bucharest, May 15, 2023. VGP, a European provider of high-quality logistics and semi-industrial real estate, has leased 7,000 m2 for storage space and 1,500 m2 for cross-docking in VGP Park Brasov to DB Schenker, leading global logistics and transportation provider. Both spaces, dedicated to the operational activities, represent customized solutions that meet the specific requirements of the client. The logistics space has been prepared for VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) racks and is equipped with a sprinkler system in the rack, over the entire surface. The cross-dock is equipped with 14 truck docks plus 1 drive-in, which means almost one dock per 100 m2.

VGP Park Brasov has an area of 315,000 m2 and will include over 140,000 m2 of logistics and industrial spaces. Three buildings, with a total area of 55,000 m2, have already been delivered, and one building, with an area of 20,000 m2, is under construction and will be delivered this year. The building that hosts DB Schenker is certified by the BREEAM assessment method with the Excellent classification.
